Poet's Choice

Always beside me
Never abandoning me
Never leaving me behind
I love you, dear :D
Everything, we tell each other
How lucky I am to have you as a friend
U are so reliable
Always keeps my secrets
Never telling them to others
Great friend you are!

Spanish, Algebra
Ughh Making me go crazy
Why are you so hard!?
Yah! Now my brain is blank
I don't know what to write

I love you mommy,
although you are strict all times
it is good for me

Acrostic

Always hungry
Money is something she lacks, because she spends too much of them on food. :PP
Bananas are my favorite fruit!
Elephants is what people use to describe me
Really makes me sad :(

Literature is something I'm bad at
Ughh. I think I'll fail this class.
Oh, I can imagine my mom beating me up after she sees the report card.

Hambo is her nickname
Animations are her favorite
Never gets tired about drawing and DANNY YU :DD
Talks all day long without getting tired
Imagine sleeping over at her house for one night
Not going to get ANY sleep at all
Energetic, actually, OVER-energetic is a word that fits her.

Hanging out with us all the time
Sometimes, I call her Bobo :D
Umm, I'm speechless now.

Elements of Poetry

There are so many elements of Poetry, and the ones that I can think of from the top of my head are plot, characters, rhyme, conflict and of course, a resolution for the conflict. Also, similes, metaphors, personifications are used. Fiction stories of course have characters, plot, conflicts, resolutions, similes, metaphors, personification, and many other more. Actually, poetry uses more elements than fiction for example, rhyme. Although not all poetry have to have a rhyme, but normally, no fiction story writers would write their story with rhymes. It would be considered as a poem if they did. Poetry and fiction may somehow be similar because they both have a story that they are trying to tell. The most cheesy and probably the most famous poem is "Roses are Red." And here it goes, Roses are Red, Violets are Blue, Sugar is Sweet, and so are you. "Blue" and "You" rhyme. And the plot of this poem may be about trying to please a girl. And in all books, there is definitely a plot. Events are linked together to cause the plot. And basically, everything that is written in the book is part of the plot.

What Does Poetry Do

Poems don't have to be written in correct grammar, and doesn't have to make sense right away. Most of the times, there is a deeper meaning in poems. There can be deeper meanings in proses, but not all the time. Other writings are mostly written in paragraph forms, but lines of poems can be cut and separated into many lines. Poems and other writings can be similar sometimes too. For example, odes. Odes are written to praise of, or dedicated to just about anything, and it doesn't have to rhyme, which most of the poems need to have. A poem can express things that other writings can too. I think that poems are just basically writings that are cut into may lines, and some poems have rhyme. And I also think that poems can express the feeling that it's deeper and that you can picture the scenes more easily. Poems should have more descriptions than other writings do. Poems now are actually seen everywhere. To me, I see them always in many of my friends' blogs. When they feel sad, they always like to write poems that make people feel so sad. But other than blogs, I think that poems now aren't as popular as they were before, and people can find them in literary books or search for them on purpose.

Spring Break

In this spring break, most of the graduates went to Bali Island in Indonesia. We went rafting, drinking (of course not alcoholic drinks), playing, chatting and singing at midnight. We also had some pillow fights which was so crazy that we couldn't sleep in that room that night. The trip was really so fun, especially the rafting part. Annie, Ivy, Ms. Sherry, Janet and I were on one raft with an instructor. The funnest part was probably not when we were falling out of the rafts, but when other people on the other rafts were attacking us. People were attacking each other with the water, and we got all soaked. One thing that I was angry about was when we went to the beach. We were having fun when we saw a snake getting washed up on the shore. We wanted to help it back into the sea, but none of us were brave enough to touch it. So, we just stood around it, and hoped that it could go back. But when the tide comes, it just keeps getting washed up back to where it was before. We didn't know what to do, and when we saw an old man walking towards it, we thought that he would help it. But we were so shocked when we saw him stepping on it. He literally stepped on it, and didn't let it go. We just stared at him with our mouthes out. Then after a while, he left and came back again. This time, he picked the snake up and brought it back to his friends and took pictures with it. Annie and I got angry and walked up to him and asked him to put it back into the ocean. He just ignored us and continued to take pictures. In the end, he did hold the snake and walked towards the sea. I don't know if he did put it back into the water, but I hope he did. And for the food, I don't think that I like it that much because we basically have the same food everyday. The only thing I liked about the food was that there were ice cream everyday. I really think that this trip to Bali was really fun, and I would want to go back there with my friends some day again.
